IDBiotech has developed an innovative digital system allowing an accurate, rapid and easy measurement and interpretation of radial immunodiffusion (RID) IDRing^® Plates.

This digital system include the following : 

• IDRing® Viewer: lightening diode system used for an optimal display of the precipitin rings obtained with the radial immunodiffusion IDRing^® plates. A digital camera (video camera available in option) is locked on the system an allows to take digital pictures of the RID plates;
• IDRing® Meter: the digital picture of the result is processed using the IDRing Meter Software. First, the user create a specific folder for each plate (or serie of plates) and can edit a "Plate Layout" for the filling of the RID plate. The software scan the IDRing plate, finds the position of the 10 wells and measures automatically the diameters of the ring precipitates. Then, the software calculates the results and published a result report. The file is then archived and can be consulted on demand. Results can also be tranferred to an Excel file.
